Benton: Dance Suite for Junior Trombone Quartet
Dance Suite by Robin Benton is the winning entry of the 2008 British Trombone Society Composing Competition for Junior Trombone Quartet. It has three movements: Rhythmic Rag, Stately Sarabande and Bouncy Boogie. There is a hint of the character of each movement in its title.
Dance Suite was conceived for beginners but it is very suitable for performance by more advanced performers as the movements are fun to play and listen to.
Bb treble versions are included in the publication for all four parts.
