Greenpiece is a short piece in two contrasting styles, a slow first melodic section followed by a staccato second section. The work was written for Alwyn Green, former Bass Trombonist of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, and was originally scored for bass trombone and wind orchestra. This piano reduction was realised by the composer.
