Let Go, for tuba and piano, is a piece inspired by the difficulty of letting go. One has to accept the loss and let the anger fade out in order to achieve true resilience. The structure of the piece was influenced by such thoughts, as well as a careful use of registry for both the tuba and the piano.
At first, the composer had difficulty to cope with the instrumentation, but heI soon realised how expressive a tuba and a piano can be when carefully combined together.
