Adagietto was written for John Marcellus and the world renowned Eastman Trombone Choir and John conducted the first performance on 29th August 2008 at Bemus Point N.Y. He says of it:" What a great piece for the ensemble. I thought the mood and expression you put into the piece came off well and I love the way the ending winds down"
