Richard Bissill
Richard Bissill was the principal french horn in the London Philharmonic Orchestra for 18 years and is a member of London Brass since 1990. He is also professor of french horn at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. He leads a busy freelance career and has played on many film soundtracks including "Return of the Jedi", "The World is Not Enough", "Gladiator", "Chicken Run" and "The Lord of the Rings".
Richard also arranges and composes music both for the concert hall and TV. Many of his works have been recorded and published and his playing and arranging skills can be heard to great effect on the recent London Horn Sound CD.
