"Menagerie" is trombonist-composer Mike Hext?s debut CD as leader - and also features a high quality UK jazz line up including Mark Lockheart on Tenor Sax, Nick Rodwell on Alto Sax, Richard Edwards on Trombone, Malcolm Edmonstone on Piano, Julian Jackson on Bass and Ben Reynolds on Drums.

Mike came to prominence winning the first ever BBC TV Young Musician Of The Year Competition in 1978 and has since led a versatile career as a trombonist and composer/arranger.
