Myths and Legends is a trombone quartet in four movements. It was commissioned by the Rittenhouse Trombone Quartet, who were members of the Curtis Institute's orchestral trombone section during the 2000-2001 season. They premiered the work on April 16, 2001, at Curtis. Players were Zachary Bond, Ryan Johnstone, David Rymbaugh, and Anthony Wise.
