Nicholas Sackman

Nicholas Sackman b. London 12.4.1950 - A modernist by nature, but one given to a particularly trenchant and direct form of musical speech, Sackman composes slowly, but with a dedication and concern for detail that gives each work an enduring quality and substance. His best known work is a fine piano sonata, but he is versatile in all the major forms.
